November is Arts in Health Month logo  Join us in November as we celebrate Arts+Health!

This national observance was established by the Society for Arts in Healthcare as a way to highlight the positive impact the arts have on the healthcare experience.

In November, we'll be spotlighting how the arts help to:

- improve patient outcomes;
- create safer, more supportive healthcare environments;
- offer caregivers an opportunity for creativity and self-expression;
- and benefit communities by engaging people in arts programs aimed at prevention and wellness.

Together, let's foster Arts + Health and showcase the benefits of arts in healthcare!

Be sure to check back -- more information will be posted here as activities are confirmed.

The Merina Healing Arts Foundation is dedicated to therapeutic arts programs -- and artist training -- that support the needs of hospitalized and hospice patients & their loved ones ~ through the healing power of therapeutic music, art therapy, journaling and horticulture therapy.
